Architects for the design of an inpatient and outpatient physical therapy addition. The design provided for a centralized exercise space with supporting speech and occupational therapy, hydrotherapy, and treatment areas. The addition expanded the existing therapy area to accommodate inpatients and created a new outpatient service area. As a result, inpatients are able to enter directly from the existing facility, and outpatients enter the therapy facility from a newly created outpatient entrance. Lancaster, Ohio. 1997.
Caretenders Senior Care Day Center
Architects for the redesign of a 9,000 s.f. adult day care facility. The complex includes a 4,500 s.f. visiting services area and a 4,500 s.f. adult day care center. The floor plan of the senior day care center consists of a dining area, an activity room, a library, a reminiscence room, a crafts room, a beauty shop, and bathing facilities. There is also an outside courtyard at the rear of the building. The center was designed as a secured facility with magnetic locks on exterior doors. The design for the visiting services area includes a nurse's office, administrative offices, a data/clerical area, reception, and conference areas. Cleveland, Ohio. 1997.
Defiance Long-Term Care
Architects in charge of construction documents for the facility expansion. The purpose of the expansion was to house 56 additional beds. The project also included a new physical therapy area, central bath, and a remodel of the existing dining and kitchen area. Defiance, Ohio.
